Ever wondered how people get around?
A study by the U.S. Census shows how many people commute in four of the largest cities in the nation. Not really surprising. Houston tops the list in people who drive alone vs. commute.
While we are not Houston, the probabilities are that we reflect pretty much the same feeling toward our vehicles...and maybe time alone in our vehicles to just drive and think.

I've been commuting by myself 50 miles each way between Groves and Lake Charles for almost 21 years now. When I started, the speed limit was 55 everywhere except for I-10 which was 65 MPH. The 75 MOH speed limits sure make it a lot nucer now!
